Helping people become disciples is not a new concern for churches. It has been the goal all along. Developing a process of discipleship within the church structure, however, is an issue that has been terribly neglected.
In Matthew 28:19 Jesus instructed us to, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (ESV)
We believe a simple structure must be in place to guide and direct people in the discipleship process. One tool we have in place to measure peoples journey in the process is our definition of a disciple. From this definition flows the entire process of discipleship. It is our desire that all programs and ministries of the church fit under the umbrella of this definition.
As a church we believe... "A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ who is motivated by love to be like Him."
